Prof. Metka Kuhar, PhD
I am a professor in the field of social psychology (University of Ljubljana). My research and teaching activities focus on phenomena of everyday life (mental health - with emphasis on trauma, interpersonal communication, relationships, self-image, youth and gender).
I have knowledge and experience in several therapeutic approaches, including Somatic Experiencing, NeuroAffective Relational Model, Somatic Attachment (Diane P. Heller), Focusing and other body-psychotherapeutic approaches, partner therapy according to the Learning Love approach and Nonviolent Communication (M. Rosenberg). I am a certified yoga and yoga dance teacher, as well as a Craniosacral Resonance and Tuina massage practitioner.
